An Artist's Abode
Size
1050 sq. ft.
Location
Grant Road
An award-winning home nestled within the winding by-lanes of 'Bombay' stands as a heartfelt tribute to India's rich tapestry of craftsmanship. The house's colour palette draws inspiration from the earth's diverse hues, enveloping 'Warmth' accomplished through the integration of artisanal elements, antiques, and crafts sourced from various corners of India, blended with neutral tones of beige, whites, and wooden elements, skilfully harmonizing ethnic interiors with a contemporary aesthetic.
The interiors of the house are a veritable treasure trove. As briefed by the client, a professional Artist, the home opens to a magnanimous hand-carved wooden door resembling the ‘Havelis’ of Rajasthan, welcoming you into one of the designer's most cherished spaces in the house, the entrance foyer, characterized by its charming brick arches, the soft chime of bells, and in-situ shelves, is a true testament to the artistry that lies within these walls.
Meticulously laying each brick to form a unique pattern that marks the transition of a grand entrance into the living room. The entrance foyer truly reminds us of entering a historic temple with the bells and brick arch, bringing a state of calm to everyone that enters the space.
